First Post!

So this is my first post for this blog, Mom Is Cheap. It took me forever and a day to try to think of a halfway creative name for a blog that includes recipes, great finds with coupons, freebies that I run into, homemade crafts, etc. Just about every name is taken and I was surprised that this simple one wasn't. Maybe it's because people don't really want to be referred to as "cheap", but my husband hates when I say "frugal", and my kids just don't know what that means. And so I don't take "cheap" as an insult. I think of it as being smart. :) So here's to being cheap!!
